# Privacy Policy — EZ5Star TaskBoard
**Last updated:** July 4, 2026
EZ5Star Clinical Consulting (“EZ5Star,” “we,” “us”) provides the EZ5Star TaskBoard app (“the App”) to help clinical consulting teams manage projects and tasks. This policy explains how the App handles information.
## Information We Collect
The App does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal information to EZ5Star or any third party by default.
All tasks, projects, staff names, and notes you create in the App are stored locally on your device, using standard on-device storage. We do not have access to this data, and it is never sent to our servers, because we do not operate any servers that receive App data.
## Optional Cloud Sync
The App includes an optional Cloud Sync feature that you may choose to enable in Admin Panel → Cloud Sync. If you turn this on, your task and project data is stored using a third-party service (JSONBin.io) under an account and API key that you personally create and control. EZ5Star does not have access to this data. Review JSONBin.io’s own privacy practices if you choose to enable this feature.
If you do not enable Cloud Sync, no App data ever leaves your device.
## Information We Do Not Collect
The App does not use analytics tools, advertising networks, or third-party tracking software. We do not collect device identifiers, location data, contacts, photos, or any other personal information beyond what you manually type into the App.
## Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for business/workplace task management and is not directed at children under 13.
## Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same page with a new “Last updated” date.

*This is a general-purpose privacy policy template for a locally-stored task management app. It is not a substitute for legal advice — if you want additional assurance it fully covers your specific business and compliance needs (especially given the healthcare/clinical consulting context), consider a quick review by an attorney.*
